Minister of Mines and Strategic Resources

A Doctor of Geology from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, and a geomatics specialist and trainer-researcher for more than 20 years, I have built recognised expertise in geosciences, GIS, remote sensing and mineral exploration. My work focuses on the geology of Gondwana, Malagasy tectonics, structural geology and identifying Madagascar’s mineral potential, with a strong ability to explain complex subjects to varied audiences, from students and technicians to decision-makers and local communities.

A former Minister of Mines and Strategic Resources of Madagascar (2021), I now combine this scientific experience, in-depth knowledge of Madagascar’s regions and solid experience in operations management to develop, through MDCBridge, programs of scientific exploration, knowledge tourism and international cooperation that serve Madagascar’s sustainable development.

With a master’s degree in marketing and international trade, I have more than 12 years of experience in tourism, sales management and customer relations, in Madagascar, France and Canada. My career has given me expertise in designing and selling tourism products, managing bookings, developing markets and organising tailor-made trips for individual travellers and groups.

I also have solid experience in team management, customer service, commercial negotiation and coordination with international partners. My understanding of what travellers and specialised tourism stakeholders expect allows me to build, within MDCBridge, attractive offers and strong partnerships between Madagascar and Canada, with a focus on sustainable development and knowledge sharing.
